Color Symbolism in kmt art Red

according to wilkinson anyway

Red: associated w/fire and blood. Can symbolise life and regeneration
(henna was used in funery rituals and paintings) also symbolises
dangerous forces beyond the realm of total control. The hostile desert
and of course Set. (oh apparently he is said to have red eyes... maybe
its my lack of reading repatoir that I have never come accorss this,
but I have been wondering about it. So he has red hair and eyes and
white skin (just in case any one is wondering) odd though because the
ntr are all said to have gold skin.... symbolises anger, destruction
and death.

deshir ieb (red of heart or furious)
desheru - wrath

the scribes would use this color to write the word beta insted of the
regular black ink. ( and for the unlucky days) as well as the names of
hostile monsters and gods like Apep and Set. wilkonson has decided to
say that he thinks that the ramesese kings had red hair. I wonder why.
(apparently we have to se ceccaldi and dr rita freed) I should do that.
