Chinese Elements

there are five elements in chinese. Fire, Earth, Metal, Water, Wood.28:09Constructive Cycle:Fire > Earth > Metal > Water > Wood > FireControlling / Weakening Cyce:Fire - Metal - Wood - Earth - Water - Fire28:38The constructive cycle is the natural flow is of element. As you can see.. one flows to the other phase28:54Controlling / Weakening cycle is very well misunderstood29:25Fire goes against metal, metal against wood ... etc...29:57Controlling cycle doesn't mean negative destruction30:05but it also implies that meaning if overdone.30:38If there is too much Fire, you use water, too much Earth, you use Wood

so you need to apply the two cycles in a very flexible way to the imbalances in the world32:16Now is the Yin organs that relate to the elements. The yang organs are usually not targeted as nourishing the yin would also affect the yang organs33:01FIre - Heart, Earth - Spleen, Metal - Lungs, Water - Kidneys, Wood - Liver33:22each is either too overactive or too underactive in most illnesses33:33use your inner senses to sense it34:30Fire is red of South, Earth is yellow of Center, Metal is white of West, Water is black of North, Wood is green of East34:44I think you open notepad and put them into a table34:49easier to understand36:23Water is the restive winter where it nourishes and stores one's potential energy. Wood is the spring that it is beginning and freshness of spring is it's energy. Fire is the summer, the heat and the active energy. Metal is the autumn of soberness and relationships.36:54Metal's energy is used to counter overactive Fire, adding some quiet to the overactivity37:27Earth is the king in the center of them all. It is the great center that all arises and falls.37:57Every season has 3 months (4 seasons). The last of the 3 months in each season is the time of the Earth.

This tefchnique is called the Five Healing Sounds40:53Xu is the sound of Wood, Her is the sound Heart, Hu is the sound of Earth, Si is the sound of Metal, Fu is the sound of Water.41:03say them slow and pull them long41:26Some people like to say them aloud some prefer to whisper41:44some think that speaking these sounds are harmful... no one knows the truth.42:16But these sounds spoken repeatedly and in accordance with the Constructive and Controlling cycles of the elements can heal or can kill.43:31The last sound although not of the elements, is Hey. It is the sound of the three elixir cauldrons in our body that creates the Great Medicine.43:56'Hey' is used to complement the healing to regulate the energies in the body.44:33You may use visualizations of the absorption of healing lights with colours conrresponding to the elements as you intone the sounds.44:44This is the Five Healing Sound technique.48:05Hearing attributes to water and the kidney and ears.Tasting attributes to fire and the heart and tonuge.Touch attributes to metal and the lungs and skin.Seeing attributes to the wood and the liver and eyes.49:38Sour is of Wood, Bitter is of Fire, Sweet is of earth, Pungent is of Metal, Salty is of Water.49:57balance the 5 tastes or the senses may go numb50:21To cultivate and strengthen the five organs further use the following formulae51:32Eyes do not see, Ears do not hear, Nose do not smell, Taste do not taste ?, Mouth do not speak, Touch does not touch ?, Thought is as it is neither existing or not existing.52:03Do you know what I meant in the text for cultivating the five organs ?nefret_nubti 4:52 AM notwzgerald 4:52 AM lol...52:35lucky I asked... because this portion if misunderstood would not be easy to cultivate52:51Because of sensory perceptions, we are trapped in our illusions53:17so if a person rest their eyes and close it, ...etc... rest the senses and just sit in emptiness...53:30not only does the mind rests, but the energies would balance out54:04the energy around us would also automatically condense onto us and automatically without visualization, our energy would quietly be restored54:57Finally, the five mental states that have to be balanced.55:37Anger arises from Wood, Happines from Fire, Grief and sorrow from Metal, Fear from Water and over Pensiveness from Earth55:51What it means is to control emotions and not think too much56:04not too happy, not too sad...56:16That's the end for the basics of the five elements
